This gavel and block is made for Carbolic Smoke Ball by Alan Truman, a wood turner in Nottinghamshire who has been making them for over twenty years. It is the genuine article, hand turned from oak, and used by members of the bench in courts all over the world.

The gavel itself is 9'' long and the block 5" in diameter.
