| Clive Wakfer is a full-time cartooonist and caricaturist. We came across him after being sent a marvellous ensemble caricature he had done for a corporate Christmas card.
Drawn in black and white, Clive's caricatures are wickedly accurate, and make a great present for colleagues. Shown to the left are some example drawings of famous people. In commissioned drawings, you can also add in props for the subject - for instance, a favourite sport, cars, books, whatever the subject's passion is.
If you would like Clive to do a caricature of one of your colleagues, perhaps as a birthday or leaving present, please post or email (sales@carbolicsmokeball.com) the following items to us at Carbolic:
- Two or three photos of the subject.
- Some notes about his/her character, foibles, likes and dislikes.
- Suggestions for props to put in the picture.
We will pass them on to Clive, who will then phone you to chat through some ideas. Ten days later, you will get the picture, mounted in a clip frame, and signed by the artist.
It's best to commission a picture at least three weeks before it is needed, but if you don't have that much time, it's worth getting in touch anyway as we will always try to meet your deadline. |
