We commissioned this product because customers kept on asking us to recommend a present for a newly-qualified barrister. There are some lovely formal presents (see the suggestions below), but often we'd get asked for something a little less formal, a bit more fun. So we came up with this mug.

The picture on the mug is of a female barrister who looks, frankly, like the sort of inarticulate, chaotic mess you wouldn't want representing you in court. To the left of the picture it says, in a childish script, "A year ago, I cudn't even spel barrista." To the right it says "Now I are wun."

It's a great present to give to a newly-qualified barrister and - dare we say it? - to some not-so-new ones too.
