| | One of four limited edition prints, on heavy archival paper, by Bob Farndon and published by the Royal Exchange Art Gallery. In this picture, Farndon casts animals in the role of barristers, court officials, judge, and gallery audience. The barrister (a fox) is making a plea in mitigation, while his junior plays the violin. Opposition counsel, in the form of a badger, is looking unimpressed, but almost everyone else in the room is tearfully accepting the story being spun to them.
